Founder, West Side Teq
Before West Side Teq, I underwrote commercial loans. Over $110 million worth. Which meant my entire job was pulling apart businesses for a living: figuring out where the money came from, where it was leaking, and whether the operation was actually built to last. I wrote checks against those answers. That habit doesn't really go away when you leave.
On the tech side, I've been writing code for 15 years and hold a certification from the Harvard Data Science Initiative in Agentic AI. I've also operated my own businesses (real estate, software, a few side projects), so I know what it feels like to be the owner sitting across the table, not just the analyst writing up the report.
What I do at West Side Teq is the overlap. Most AI consultants understand the tech but not the business. Most business consultants understand the business but can't write the code. Before West Side Teq, I built my career inside fast-moving healthcare and operations environments, places where slow or sloppy implementation is the difference between profit and lost contracts. I've led AI rollouts for clinics and provider groups, audited workflows that hadn't been looked at in years, written operating procedures from scratch, trained teams, and embedded automation directly into day-to-day work. I know how to make AI actually work inside a real organization with real employees and real constraints, not just in a slide deck.
Alongside my role at West Side Teq, I serve as Chief Clinical Ambassador at HealthChannels, Inc., helping clients modernize workflows and integrate AI across specialties including internal medicine, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and podiatry. Earlier in my career I managed business accounts, supported revenue cycle operations, and worked directly with executive teams. Which is a broad way of saying I've spent a long time watching how businesses actually run versus how they look on paper.
I hold an MBA from Eastern Michigan University, with graduate work in business strategy, informatics, finance, HR, risk management, and decision-making. The academic side gave me the frameworks; the operational side taught me what actually survives contact with reality. Both matter when we're deploying AI workforces, installing hardware, or building entire businesses for our clients.
